Ivica Vastic's last minute penalty salvaged a 1-1 draw for Austria in their Group B match with Poland in Vienna. The Euro 2008 co-hosts started well in front of the home fans and squandered three excellent chances early on before Poland's Roger Guerreiro scored against the run of play after 30 minutes. In the day's early kick-off Croatia stunned Germany 2-1 to go top of the group.
